The Gentleman's Wager

The Gentleman's Wager | Johnnie Walker Blue Label

A great brand goes outside of the realm of normality when advertising. Johnnie Walker went even beyond that, crafting this short film starring Jude Law. Filmed in the British Virgin Islands and London, we see that character played by Mr. Law, despite evidently having it all, proposing a wager to challenge himself into creating an original performance to win something money cannot buy.

Directed by Jake Scott, son of Ridley Scott, this beautifully shot short was described by Law as "a rare experience."

"The film is about improvement and progress and this is something I try to do in my work and life."

"I had to learn new skills through the shooting of this film and that, combined with the places we visited and shot in, alongside working with Jake and Giancarlo [Giannini], too, made it a truly rare experience." The Hollywood actor, born in London, went through intensive training for the short film including learning to play the piano, picking up a saxophone for the first time in years and going to dance classes.

Here it is...
