A true Collector's edition timepiece. Order one of these limited edition watches featuring a genuine piece from Point Cook (sand in the crown) which is the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps (AFC), which was renamed to the Royal Australian Air Force following its success in World War I. RAAF Base Point Cook was the Air Force's only base from 1912 to 1925, when RAAF Base Richmond and RAAF Base Laverton were built.

The Aviator watch looks to the future and takes inspiration from the cornerstone of the Air Force centenary celebrations: Now. Then. Always. Designed by Bausele Founder, Christo Hoppe, in collaboration with the Air Force Centenary team, the watch is a Swiss made automatic loaded with many unique and high-end features, making it a true collectors watch.

By purchasing this product you are supporting the restoration and preservation of historic RAAF aircraft.

The first 200 customers will receive a keyring with a piece of aircraft number A21-01, cut from the first F/A-18A Hornet fighter jet made and flown in Australia.

MADE TO LAST

This watch design was first launched by Bausele in 2011 and has been perfected and tested to the highest standard over almost a decade.

Constructed from surgical grade 316L stainless steel with gun metal IP (blue and black versions).

Features a Sapphire crystal face that cannot be scratched or broken.

It has been over 70 years since the RAAF commissioned a watch. We have built this watch using the same Swiss manufacturing techniques as the original watches, now worth many times their original value as collector’s items and designed by IWC and Jaeger LeCoultre.

CLEAR DIAL DESIGN

The clean look of the dial with large hands makes it very easy to read.

The RAAF Centenary logo creates a unique collector’s edition keepsake.

The second hand has been designed in the shape of a F/A-18 Hornet.

The Dial features a count up function actioned by the crown at 2 o'clock which turns the multi-directional inner ring. The purpose of the count up is to track elapsed time.

On the blue, the 21 minutes are highlighted - signifying the Air Force's establishment and centenary years: 1921-2021.
