*The Ooni Karu 16 gas regulator now comes with an LCC27 fitting in accordance to the new AU standard regulator for stocks manufactured after 1st April 2022. This won't work with the old gas bottle (POL appliance).

This mean that the new fitting (LCC27 fitting) will only work with the new bottle (LCC27 appliance), but the old fitting (Type 21/ POL) will work for both old and new appliances. The old fitting will be phased out, and the new fitting is needed for potential replacements.
